What is StarKids?

Starkids is a charitable partnership between Jetstar and World Vision Australia. Starkids’ mission is to transform the lives of families and communities living in poverty and give kids a brighter future. It does this by supporting humanitarian relief and community-based development projects in Australia and across Asia.

Since establishment back in 2007, Starkids has raised more than $11 million for World Vision projects, a figure made possible thanks to the generosity of Jetstar’s Australian customers. Where do the funds go?

For over 50 years, World Vision Australia has worked hard to make sure all resources entrusted to them are used as efficiently and effectively as possible to benefit children and communities in need.

World Vision provides relief in emergency situations and works on long-term community development projects to assist millions of people worldwide. Together, this work addresses the causes of poverty and helps people to move towards self-sufficiency.
