What's the weather like in Sydney compared to Brisbane?
If you’re from Brisbane, you’ll be used to a pretty sub-tropical climate all year round. Sydney doesn’t quite match that constant warmth – you’ll find the weather in Sydney is still sunny and mild but generally cooler, and with more defined seasons. Summers certainly aren’t as hot and humid as Brisbane’s, and you won’t get as much rainfall or as many thunderstorms during that time. June is the wettest month in Sydney – so expect winter showers rather than summer storms.
