Terms & Conditions Booking with Bendigo Lodges Welcome to Bendigo Lodges! These terms and conditions apply to all guests who book directly with us, under the registration of Edinburgh Street Pty Ltd ACN 630 371 489. Rates Our rates are based on your chosen dates of stay and are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD). Please note that rates may change depending on any adjustments to your arrival or departure dates. Additional Guests If you’re bringing extra guests and require additional bedding, there’s an extra person rate. This only applies when staying in  Lodge One when more than two guests are staying at Lodge One. Bookings, Cancellations, Amendments and Charges To confirm your reservation we require a credit card for guarantee purposes. A minimum two-night stay applies to all bookings. All bookings require full payment upon booking. Such payment may be forfeited in the event of cancellation, amendment or failure to check in on the specified date, in accordance with the terms shown below. Bendigo Lodges may, at its option, cancel any booking not paid in full prior to arrival. Refunds can take up to 14 working days to be processed. Other alterations to booking details may result in a rate change. All outstanding charges are to be paid prior to arrival. Bendigo Lodges welcomes children ten years and over. Payment Policy Payment can be made via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or direct deposit. Please note that surcharges may apply to credit card payments. Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change. Bookings may be cancelled or amended prior to two weeks from arrival without deposit forfeiture. Cancellations made between 7-14 days before your arrival will incur a 50% fee. Unfortunately, within 7 days of your stay, all monies paid will be forfeited. No refunds or credits can be given in the event of non-arrival, any unused services, or unused nights due to travel disruptions, weather, or illness. As we are a small team operating in a regional city, we recommend guests who are unwell defer travelling until they are fit and well. For peace of mind, we recommend you protect yourself with comprehensive travel insurance to cover any cancellation fees. Lodges Guidelines Check-in time is from 15:00pm, Check-out time is 11:00am, later check out may result in an additional night being charged. All indoor areas, including lodges and our Meeting Point room in Bendigo Lodges are strictly non smoking. Pets may not be brought onto the premises with the exception of guide dogs. Guests shall comply with all rules, regulations and instructions at Bendigo Lodges, including but not limited to security procedures, health and safety procedures and registration requirements. Bendigo Lodges shall be entitled to refuse a guest entry or accommodation or to require a guest to leave the premises if unreasonable behaviour is displayed, be it threatening or abusive, causing disturbance to other guests or otherwise unacceptable. Bendigo Lodges recommend the storage of valuables in each guests own locked bags or in the own vehicles. Bendigo Lodges will not accept liability for loss or damage to those items. Limitation of Liability While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and security of our guests, Bendigo Lodges shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury caused by guests’ negligence or misconduct. Bendigo Lodges does not accept any liability for loss or damage to a guest’s vehicle unless caused by Bendigo Lodges negligence or willful misconduct. Guests shall be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury they may cause at Bendigo Lodges. Bendigo Lodges may engage appropriate transfers operators and other providers to coordinate and provide certain services. The transfer operators and other providers are solely responsible for and liable for providing their respective services. Guests are also subject to specific terms and conditions imposed by other providers. Lost Property Any items found by our staff will be safely kept for a period of three months. If the owner cannot be identified, items will be disposed of or donated to charity. Force Majeure Bendigo Lodges shall not be liable for failure or delay in delivering obligations under the booking contract if the cause of the failure or delay is due to reasons beyond our control. These include, but are not limited to: war or threat of war, civil or political action or disturbance, riot, natural disaster, fire, epidemic, bad weather, terrorist activity (threatened or actual), military activity, governmental or regulatory action, industrial dispute, failure of power or machinery, failure of or interruption in externally provided services and utilities. All bookings are subject to availability, and Bendigo Lodges shall be entitled to refuse any booking on reasonable grounds. Personal Data and Privacy Data protection is very important to Bendigo Lodges and the Personal Information (any information relating to you) of our customers is treated absolutely, positively confidential. When we need to collect information from you, we generally ask you to voluntarily supply us with the required data. This data will not be made accessible to third parties except if required by law, by court or by a regulatory authority. Furthermore, your Personal Information will only be processed for the purposes indicated at the time of collected as indicated in the Privacy Policy https://bendigolodges.com.au/privacy-policy/or as evident under the circumstances. Please do note that your acceptance of our Privacy Policy is a condition of these Legal Terms and Conditions. Governing Law and Jurisdiction By accessing and using any services of the Bendigo Lodges website, the user and Bendigo Lodges agree that all matters relating to and/or any disputes arising out of the user’s access to, or use of the Bendigo Lodges website shall be governed by and interpreted and construed and enforced exclusively in accordance with the laws of Australia. For added flexibility, we offer check-ins exclusively on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
