Breakfast ~ What sets us apart from all other BnB’s is that we offer a complimentary breakfast that rivals many boutique city hotels and we are famous for our “Downton Abbey” style breakfast presentation. Our ‘self serve’ breakfast is available between 6:30am until 11:00am in the communal dining room. After you have finished your breakfast, please clear your setting and place the breakfast dishes in the dishwasher. If you become aware of any breakfast condiment (jams, cereal etc) that have reached the end of its usability (empty, contaminated or stale), please discard them in the kitchen rubbish bin. Cafe Barista ~ Our all day and night coffee and tea is complimentary. There is an endless supply of cookies, real and instant coffee, hot chocolate, teas and cafe flavours to make your perfect beverage. Mini Bar ~ Our mini bar operates on a honour system with no pre-payment necessary. Simply keep track of your usage and leave the cash with your keys at check out. Soft Drink $3 ~ Beer $5 ~ Wine $20 ~ Champagne $20 Kitchen Cooking ~ Our ‘Bed & Breakfast’ provides some basic cooking facilities for our guests, if you are planning to prepare your own meal at home, our microwave, cooktop and outdoor bbq are available to cook your meal. Laundry Washing Machine ~ Located under the entry stair case behind the outdoor shower is a washing machine and dryer. Towels ~ Please use the bath sheets located on your bed for inhouse use and the additional room towels for tours and visits to the beach. If you need fresh towels, leave used towels outside your door by 11:00am and we will gladly replace them. Lighting and Air Conditioning ~ Our Bed and Breakfast is serviced by solar and battery storage. Please leave all lights and lamps on in common areas. Please leave your air conditioning running during the day, (even if you are out) when the sun shines, its free :-) Alfresco Dining and BBQ ~ The bbq and outdoor dining area is equipped with everything you need to prepare your outdoor dining experience. Call if you need assistance. Quiet time after 10pm ~ As most of our guests are up early to attend tours, we have a 10pm Quiet Time (curfew) to ensure a peaceful sleep for all guests. If you are returning late from being out, be super silent not to disturb our other guests. Check Out / Departure ~ Room check-out time is 11:00am, please leave your keys in your room door when departing. If you have a late departing bus or flight and wish to leave your baggage, we can store them for you until your Hervey Bay departure. Guest Room Privacy ~ All of our guests rooms are private and must not be entered. Please keep your bedroom door closed at all times not only for privacy but, to ensure the air-conditioning is not going to waste. Shared Facilities ~ The kitchen and dining room is communal and shared with other guests. Please leave the facilities neat and tidy at all times. BnB Security ~ Hervey Bay is a safe community and for additional peace of mind, our front compound is fully secured (please ensure the red door is properly closed) and we have an Arlo security camera system in all common areas. Strangers are not permitted to be in our home, only registered BnB guests. House Keeping ~ If you are planning to go exploring, we like to perform our house keeping and re-stocking duties between 11:00 - 1:00pm. Smoking ~ Vaping or tobacco smoking is permitted out doors only in the garden. Please be respectful to not allow 2nd hand smoke to disturb other guests. Legal Stuff ~ We wish you an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Please read all our house rules, terms and conditions, in order to make your stay as pleasant as possible. By entering our hotel and providing payment, you have agreed to observe our hotel rules and consent to your credit card on file being charged for extra fees and penalties. We do not permit any illegal activities, theft of hotel property, pets, offensive language, nudity, loud or disturbing behaviour and parties, breaching curfew, vaping (electronic cigarette) or tobacco smoking indoors, contraband and drugs are strictly prohibited. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE - Upon checking in to our property, please inspect every aspect of the accommodation. If you ARE NOT fully satisfied with the amenities and standards we have provided, please call and we will arrange a full refund. This guarantee is conditional upon you making the request with 15 minutes of checking in and that you have not disturbed or used anything in the room requiring further housekeeping. . PRE-PAYMENT POLICY Pre-Payment of the full amount will be charged to your credit card 30 days prior to checkin.
