1. This establishment shall not be held liable to any guest or visitor of a guest for any loss, damage or destruction to any personal property brought onto these premises by said guest or visitor unless such loss, damage or destruction was the deliberate or negligent act of the proprietor or licensee of these premises or its authorized agents and employees or the property had been deposited in their safe custody.
2. Personal property includes money, jewellery and other personal effects and motor vehicles parked on the premises.
3. When a guest checks in at reception or a visitor of the guest enters any part of the premises they shall be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these conditions.
House Rules
1. Guests and visitors of guests are expected to behave in a manner which is conductive to the safety, comfort and convenience of other guests.
2. A breach of any house rules may result in the summary eviction of the offender at the discretion of management.
3. Any visitors must depart by 10pm.
4. A breach of house rules includes but not limited to:
• Noisy, offensive and/or unruly behaviour.
• Damage to or destruction of property.
• Improper or unseemly conduct or any act or omission which in the opinion of management, adversely effects or brings discredit upon management, owner, staff, or other guests.
Please notify reception or hotel staff should excessive noise be disrupting your stay. Guests causing a disturbance will be warned and may be asked to leave should it continue.
Attention guests: please note that the checkout time is 10.00am. If you would like a later checkout and if this can be arranged an extra fee will apply. If you would like to extend your booking you must notify reception and make payment by 10am.
All rooms are non-smoking - Dorset Gardens Hotel has a strict zero tolerance policy, no parties, no pets, no smoking, no vaping, no drugs, no disturbances, no excessive noise, no anti-social or abusive behaviour. Any guest or their visitors found to have ignored the above-mentioned rules or found to have caused loss or damages of fixtures or structural damages will forfeit their security deposit / will be charged a cleaning fee, be removed, and barred from the property and be held responsible for any costs incurred. Tampering with smoke detectors will incur a minimum fee of $150.00, this includes removing batteries, covering, or dismantling of smoke alarms. Dorset Gardens Hotel accepts no responsibility for any personal items left in motel rooms. All unclaimed telephone deposits and room bonds will be held for a period of 28 days from the day of departure.
