Bear Gully Coastal Cottages are found along the wild and rugged coastline of South East Victoria, half way between Cape Liptrap and Walkerville South in the sleepy little hideaway of Bear Gully.Close to Wilson's Promontory National Park, it is a perfect stay for self catering travellers.These lovely contemporary style seaside cottages accommodate up to four people, maximising views across Waratah Bay to the magnificent mountains of Wilson's Promontory.The safe and sandy shores of Maitland Beach are at the doorstep.Each cottage has two bedrooms and includes all linen and towels. 'Gull Cottage' and 'Cuttlebone Cottage' have two queen sized beds; 'Shearwater Cottage' and 'Nautilus Cottage' each have one queen sized bed and two single beds, all with electric blankets. Linen is included.All bedrooms open out through sliding glass doors onto decking overlooking the sea. The central living area consists of a fully fitted kitchen, a tasteful and comfortably furnished living /dining area. A large undercover deck opens from the living area. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying a leisurely lunch. Other features include a Coonara style gas log heater, television, DVD, iPod/MP3 Docking Station, electric barbecue and carport parking.The Rookery - is a fabulous three bedroom barn style accommodation that can sleep five - 10 people. Great for small groups.For rates and information please check the website as the rates are different for each cottage. On arrival at Bear Gully, you will be welcomed and given keys and a brief introduction to your getaway and then left to enjoy your stay.What you need to bring: All food, drinks, books, CD's, DVD's, beach towels, and tough walking shoes for exploring, insect repellent, sunscreen and hatsClosest shop, fuel and pub are 30 minutes away.
