Glenview retreat offers accommodation in two country style cottage suites, creating a warm, relaxed atmosphere for couples as a romantic getaway or weekend escape. A Gourmet Hamper Breakfast - Self Cater is included in the rate.
The fully self-contained cottages are each furnished to encapsulate the country style appeal, but designed with modern luxuries of air conditioning, gas log fire, candlelit double spa,, cathedral ceilings, queen size bed, kitchenette, TV and DVD. Each cottage boasts its own private courtyard garden.
As part of the indulgent package complimentary wine and chocolates are provided on arrival.
This spectacular country setting is home to many species of native birds including king parrots, rosellas and galahs which are fed daily at your cottage door. In the surrounding area there is native wildlife such as wallabies, wombats and echidnas.Take a leisurely stroll to the Emerald Lake and Puffing Billy Lakeside station or explore the walking tracks of Wright State Forest. Ride the paddle boats, feed the ducks, ride on Puffing Billy or stroll the parklands; Glenview Retreat is the perfect base to experience it all. Travelling to Glenview Retreat from Melbourne via the Monash Freeway or Eastlink.
Take the Wellington Rd exit and go eastbound on Wellington Rd until you reach the end.
Turn right into the Belgrave-Gembrook Rd and in just over a kilometre you are in Emerald.
Cross the Puffing Billy railway line and turn right at the second roundabout into Beaconsfield-Emerald Rd.
3km turn left into Paternoster Rd (green sign). 1km turn left into Bailey Rd (road to Cockatoo), 100 metres turn left into Majestic Dve.
1.3 km turn left into Wombat Cr, turn left into Fernglade Dve, we are the second property on the left.
