Tucked away in the rural country town of Goughs Bay, Fernleigh Accommodation is one of the Victorian High Country's hidden gems. With four Cottages and a large Group Lodge, there is plenty of space for everyone. Fernleigh is located on 11 acres with a mix of huge 100 year old gum trees lining the driveway, lots of open space for play and a couple of dams. Enjoy the rich history that Fernleigh has to offer with our beautiful 100 year old original homestead built by Edward Gough in 1917.
Fernleigh Accommodation is a peacefully quiet location; only a 15 minute drive from Mansfield, a 5 minute walk to Lake Eildon or a 35 minute drive to the base of Mt Buller. Wander through our beautiful garden, relax by the pool, have a hit of tennis or explore the large open paddocks. Keep your eyes open for the many native animals that pass through our property such as kangaroos, wombats and echidnas as well as an abundance of possums, rabbits, deer and native birds. Also located on the property are 5 chickens and our beautiful Border Collie named Ash.Please note that bed linen and towels are BYO in Eildon Lodge. Please contact the property prior to arrival for linen rental - AUD 15 per bed.
