The Coogee Bay Hotel has welcomed guests and visitors to Sydney’s stunning seaside for many years. The hotel has 23 rooms which are located above the bars and licensed venue. The rooms were thoroughly renovated in late 2019. They offer a cool, casual, beach vibe, whilst remaining sympathetic to the 149 year old heritage building. The rooms can only be accessed by walking through the licensed venue and then ascending some stairs – there is no lift.The Coogee Bay Hotel is also one of Sydney's premier live music venues, and many famous artists and musicians have performed at the hotel. Our rooms above the bar celebrate this history by showcasing an authentic collection of art and photography from some of the concerts which have been held at the Coogee Bay Hotel over the years.Some bar noise may be experienced from the bars below. However, the Coogee Bay Hotel offers the perfect beachside stay for the young at heart!If you are interested in a more intimate, private, and quiet seaside getaway then we suggest that you try our Coogee Bay Boutique Hotel, which is located behind the main property.

Reception is located at 9 Vicar Street, Coogee. Reception is currently open from 630am - 1030pm each day. If you require check-in after-hours please let us know, and we will arrange for a hotel manager to meet you upon check-in.
Limited car parking is available, but it must be booked to avoid disappointment. Please contact the hotel direct to book car parking.
