The Hotel Windsor

The Windsor's cosy Traditional Rooms are their smallest room type, best suited for short Melbourne stays. Each room is approximately 22 square-metres of historic charm, with a Queen-sized bed, desk and marble bathroom with shower over bath. All Traditional Rooms face inward, so if you are after a view, the Superior Rooms are recommended.

The Windsor's 33 square-metre Superior Rooms offer roomy comfort for longer getaways. Available in a King or Twin bed set-up, they include a desk and marble bathroom with shower over bath. Some of the Superior Rooms are interconnected, perfect for families or groups. A rollaway bed for a third guest can also be added (additional costs apply).

The Windsor's generously sized Deluxe Rooms sit at approximately 40 square-metres, offering spacious quarters to spread out in the heart of the city. Available in a King or Twin bed set-up, they include magnificent high ceilings, a desk, lounge chairs and a marble bathroom with shower over bath. A rollaway bed for a third guest can also be added (additional costs apply).

The Windsor's two-room Junior Suites offer a separate area for privacy, work or play. Walk in and you’ll find a bedroom (King Bed) and separate lounge, with a desk, marble bathroom with shower over bath and sofa bed for an additional guest.

The Windsor's Windsor Suites are one of the most unique in Melbourne, with a magnificent oval lounge room overlooking one of Melbourne’s most iconic historic buildings, Parliament House. A stately 80 square-metres, the Windsor Suites include a hallway, butler's servery, lounge area, dining table and desk, and a generous master bedroom with King-sized bed, walk-in robe and marble bathroom with shower over bath. This suite accommodates up to three adults, with the option of a rollaway bed for the third guest. All Windsor Suites interconnect with a Superior Room; perfect for families and groups.

The Windsor's Victorian Suites are the hotel's biggest suites, with separate sleeping, dining and lounge rooms. Sitting at a very generous 122 square metres, they were once used by Melbourne’s high society as permanent living quarters, and feature tall windows with magnificent views of historic Parliament House, Spring Street and the lush Treasury Gardens. Perfect for families who would like private spaces to tuck away, the Victorian Suites offer both a master and second bedroom which can accommodate up to four adults. Each Victorian Suite comes with a modern bathroom with shower over bath. Other features include a full dining suite, desk, dressing table, ornamental fireplaces, stained glass windows and a separate entryway. A rollaway bed for the fourth guest can be organised at an additional cost.
