La Rocher is an family owned and run Eco Retreat situated in the soft foothills of the UNESCO World Heritage Wollumbin caldera, right in the heart of the Tweed Valley and Northern Rivers hinterland, close to the historical village of Uki. We dreamt of the perfect hinterland retreat and the dream became a reality. The story behind our name is linked to our surname “Rocher” which is French for "large rock", thus referencing the spectacular Wollumbin that is a focal point of the view from the property. Our property is designed with three
main focuses:

CANCELLATIONS
If a booking is cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival, no cancellation fee will apply
If a booking is cancelled 14 to 7 days prior to arrival, a 50% cancellation fee of the total booking cost will apply.
If a booking is cancelled less than seven days prior to arrival, a 100% cancellation fee of the total booking cost will apply.
If the booking is a ‘no-show’, a 100% fee of the total booking cost will apply.
DAMAGES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Guests are responsible for any damages and La Rocher Eco Retreat accepts no responsibility for property.
POOL AND HOT TUB
The Pool and hot tub area is open 24/7
The hot tub is heated only during winter months (April to September) and specifically by request only. This is an eco-initiative to minimize energy usage and avoid unnecessary consumption if not occupied. Please contact us in advance as heating can take up to four hours.
PETS
No pets allowed. Exceptions may be made under certain circumstances – please contact us directly when booking.
SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT
- Our property, as an Eco Retreat, is a smoke-free environment. We respectfully request our guests to adhere to this. If you do wish to smoke, we request that this be done outside in the gardens, away from other guests and the common areas: carport, pool and pathways. Smoking on the decks is also not permitted, as the residue of tobacco odour is extremely difficult to deal with. A deep cleaning fee of of up to $500 will be charged to any guest or their visitors who smoke within the villa (including the deck). This charge may be applied to a guest’s account after departure if evidence of smoking is found.

Depending on bookings we welcome early check in and late check outs. PLEASE however, do give us an anticipated time of arrival to ensure we have your villa ready for you and welcome you,
