Dramatic hot springs and relaxing onsen

Oita Prefecture packs in natural escapes. See Beppu's seven Onsen Hells hot springs or misty Lake Kinrin, and be spirited away at Yufuin Floral Village. A trek away are epic Harajiri Falls (Japan's Niagara) and ancient forest temple Futagoji. While Oita City has Funai castle ruins and galleries.
