These are our payment options for payments made in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR). For payment in other currencies, different payment options are available.
Credit, debit or charge card
We accept international Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay, and JCB cards for flights departing from Colombo using Sri Lankan Rupees. American Express is available if your (first) flight is operated by Jetstar Airways (JQ) or Jetstar Asia (3K) or Jetstar Japan (GK). A Booking and Service Fee will apply.
UnionPay
You can also pay for your Jetstar flights using UnionPay. When you choose this option, you'll be redirected to the UnionPay opens in new window website. A Booking and Service fee per passenger per flight will apply.
Card foreign transaction fee
Your credit or debit card payments may be processed outside the country where you purchased your booking. The bank that issued your card may identify your credit or debit card payment as a foreign transaction and charge you a fee. For further information, please contact your bank.
Jetstar voucher
Vouchers issued by Jetstar can be used for part or full payment of your fare. Please note that vouchers can only be used once and any unused portion of the value of a voucher will be forfeited. No Booking and Service Fee applies.
If there’s a remaining balance, you must pay this with another voucher or by credit, debit or charge card on jetstar.com or the Jetstar app. A Booking and Service Fee will apply.
In-flight purchases
To make in-flight purchases on any Jetstar Airways (JQ) flight, you’ll need a physical credit card or a digital wallet. These can be used to buy food and drinks on board, or to pre-purchase meals, snacks or an in-flight voucher. In-flight payment options may vary for Jetstar Asia (3K) and Jetstar Japan (GK).
