What happens to my existing bookings?
Original inclusions apply. If you make changes to an existing booking, you have the choice to stay on the original bundle booked or change to any of the new bundles (except for Business Max).
Once the bundle is changed to a new bundle you cannot reinstate the old fare/bundle.
Can I add a new bundle to an existing booking? How?
For bookings made through API & Agent Hub you may log in to Manage Booking (MMB) on Jetstar.com to see the Bundle options available to add to your booking. Alternatively, contact Jetstar Trade Support via Live Chat.
Please note, when changing bundles the fare rules and inclusions that apply to the new bundle will apply on the booking regardless of when the original booking was made, with the exception of the “Flight Cancellation” feature which remains as per the original booking. For example:
- If your customer’s original fare or fare with bundle did not include the option to cancel their flight, and your customer changes to a fare with a bundle that includes flight cancellation for a credit voucher, a credit voucher refund will not be available, unless your customer is entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, local law or Conditions of Carriage, or your customer added FareCredit to their original booking;
- If your customer’s original fare with bundle included a credit voucher refund and they change to another fare with bundle that does not include a credit voucher refund, they will still be eligible for a credit voucher refund on their new bundle.
If my customer booked a Starter Max bundle with 30kgs checked baggage, will this still be honoured?
Yes! The Starter Max bundle inclusions purchased at the time of booking will remain valid until travel is complete.
If my customer booked a Flex bundle with 14kg carry-on baggage included, will this still be honoured?
Yes! The Flex bundle inclusions purchased at the time of booking will remain valid until travel is complete.
Do all passengers on the same booking (PNR) need to be on the same bundle?
Yes. If one passenger would like to be on a different bundle, they must be divided off the booking to make this change.
If I purchase a new bundle and I decide I'd like to change to an alternate new bundle, am I able to do so? (for example: change from Starter Plus to Flex Plus)
Yes! You may move to another new bundle by paying any applicable fare difference. Check the fare rules and bundle inclusions before making changes to ensure your customers are not losing any inclusions they still require for travel.
Please note the “Flight Cancellation” feature remains as per your customer’s original booking, even if your customer subsequently changes to a bundle which includes it. For example:
- If the original fare or fare with bundle did not include the option to cancel their flight, and your customer change to a fare with a bundle that includes flight cancellation for a credit voucher, a credit voucher refund will not be available, unless your customer is entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, local law or Conditions of Carriage, or your customer added FareCredit to your original booking;
- If your customer’s original fare with bundle included a credit voucher refund and they change to another fare with bundle that does not include a credit voucher refund, they will still be eligible for a credit voucher refund on their new bundle.
Is a bundle refundable?
If your customer purchases a fare with a bundle initially, they will not be able to change to a Starter fare (without a bundle).
If your customer has a fare with bundle that can be cancelled for a refund or credit voucher*, the value of the fare and bundle will be included in any credit voucher or refund amount:
- If a Flex or Flex Plus booking is cancelled in its entirety, the fare and bundle value will be refunded to a credit voucher;
- If a Business Max booking is cancelled in its entirety, the fare and bundle value will be refunded to the original form of payment (less the applicable refund fee).
*Customers may be entitled to a refund, an alternative flight or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or Conditions of Carriage, in which case no fees apply.
How are Qantas Business Rewards (QBR) accrued? What do I need to do?
Qantas Business Rewards earn is applicable on JQ bookings only, excluding New Zealand Domestic flights.
If the passenger’s business and Frequent Flyer number is registered with the Qantas Business Rewards program enter the passengers ABN into the booking, along with their Frequent Flyer number. The business will earn QBR points for the eligible fare and the customer will earn QFF Points for eligible fares.
GDS bookings with Flex, Max and Business Max bundles will also earn QBR points.
SSR entry to enter an ABN into a booking is:
Amadeus: SKQSMEQF-99999999999
Galileo: SI.QF*QSME.99999999999
Sabre: 3OSI QF QSME.99999999999
- Entry must be in the exact format specified, including any dots and any spaces as entered in the above examples
- Ensure the spaces represented above are entered as spaces in the system
“99999999999” is replaced by the Qantas Business Rewards member’s ABN. An ABN is an 11-digit number.
Click here for further Business Travel information.
Can I add an ABN after the booking is made and finalised (but prior to travel)?

How are Qantas Frequent Flyer (QFF) points accrued? What do I need to do?
