New Zealand Domestic Travel Insurance
For your domestic trip with Jetstar. Key benefits and exclusions are:
Up to $2,500 cover for non-refundable trip cancellation costs (including for Covid-19 diagnosis)
Up to $1,000 cover if you incur additional travel expenses (including for Covid-19 diagnosis)
Up to $2,500 cover for lost or stolen luggage (sub limits apply)
Up to $600 cover if you experience travel or baggage delays
Up to $5,000 rental car excess
No cover for snow sports, extreme sports, competition sports unless for primary or secondary school age students, mountaineering, or expeditions
No cover for any event or set of circumstances that you were aware of at the time you booked or extended your trip, or you purchased this insurance, whichever happened last that could reasonably be expected to lead to a claim

No cover for any pre-existing medical condition that is not shown in the table of Automatically Covered Conditions
No cover for planned or actual travel to, or choosing to stay in, any country or region where the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade has issued a ‘Level 4 - Do not travel’ advisory on their website safetravel.govt.nz

The above amounts are maximum benefit limits. Actual benefits you may receive will depend on the circumstances of your claim and the terms of your policy. Coverage is always subject to you meeting all other terms and conditions of your policy.
Extreme sports such as hunting, skydiving and polo are not covered under these policies. Please see the Product Disclosure Statements for more information.
