How can I pay for my Jetstar flight?

These are our payment options for payments made in Thai Baht (THB). For payment in other currencies, Different payment options may apply.

Credit, debit or charge card

We accept international Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay, JCB and UATP cards. American Express is available if your (first) flight is operated by Jetstar Airways (JQ) or Jetstar Asia (3K) or Jetstar Japan (GK). A Booking and Service Fee will apply.

UnionPay

You can also pay for your Jetstar flights using UnionPay. When you choose this option, you'll be redirected to the UnionPay website. A Booking and Service fee per passenger per flight will apply.

Card foreign transaction fee

Your credit or debit card payments may be processed outside the country where you purchased your booking. The bank that issued your card may identify your credit or debit card payment as a foreign transaction and charge you a fee. For further information, please contact your bank.

PayPal

PayPal is available if your (first) flight is operated by Jetstar Airways (JQ) or Jetstar Asia (3K), and for payments made in Australian dollars (AUD), New Zealand dollars (NZD), Singapore dollars (SGD), Japanese Yen (JPY) Thai baht (THB), US dollars (USD) and Hong Kong dollars (HKD). If you choose to pay with PayPal, you'll be redirected to the PayPal website. A Booking and Service fee per passenger per flight will apply.

Alipay

If you have a bank account issued in mainland China, you can pay for your Jetstar flights using Alipay opens in new window. When you choose this option, you'll be redirected to the Alipay site or app. A Booking and Service fee per passenger per flight will apply.

Alipay is available in the following currencies: Chinese yuan (CNY), US dollars (USD), Australian dollars (AUD), Hong Kong dollars (HKD), Singapore dollars (SGD) and Japanese yen (JPY).

Jetstar voucher

Vouchers issued by Jetstar can be used for part or full payment of your fare. Please note that vouchers can only be used once and any unused portion of the value of a voucher will be forfeited. No Booking and Service Fee applies.

If there is a remaining balance, you must pay this on jetstar.com or the Jetstar app with another voucher or by credit, debit or charge card. Voucher payments are fee-free; however a Booking and Service Fee will apply to credit, debit and charge cards.

In-flight purchases

To make in-flight purchases on any Jetstar Airways (JQ) flight, you’ll need a physical credit card or a digital wallet. These can be used to buy food and drinks on board, or to pre-purchase meals, snacks or an in-flight voucher. In-flight payment options may vary for Jetstar Asia (3K) and Jetstar Japan (GK).
