Jetstar Airways in Australia
Jetstar Airways Pty Limited launched its Australian low-fare operations in May 2004. Now we fly to and from 19 Australian domestic and 13 short and long-haul overseas destinations. We are currently the third largest airline in Australia (by domestic market share) and a top five international airline by capacity share, serving international routes to and from Australia.
Together with Qantas, we offer more domestic and international flights than any other airline group in Australia.
Jetstar Airways in New Zealand
Jetstar first launched in New Zealand in December 2005 flying trans-Tasman services between Sydney and Christchurch. Jetstar now operates more than 50 weekly international return services between Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast in Australia and Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown in New Zealand.
Domestic New Zealand operations were launched on 10 June 2009 with over 200 weekly return domestic flights on sale between Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Wellington and Queenstown.
