Adults only Shantara Resort Port Douglas is boutique apartments for couples, Honeymooners or the independent traveler, positioned central to Four Mile Beach, shops and restaurants of Macrossan Street as well as being a short stroll to the Marina. The One Bedroom Apartments and Studio Rooms have been fitted out with quality furniture and fittings. The Apartments have large spa baths, separate shower, king bed, full kitchen and large living area. The studio Rooms are great for that short stay, king bed, kitchenettes, and shower recess only, ground level rooms connect to a pool deck and the Shantara apartments have jacuzzis(hottubs) in private courtyards and pool deck access. There are two large saltwater swimming pools, heated in winter, one of the pools is connected to a barbecue entertaining area. Further features include an equipped gymnasium and day spa for massages. Shantara Port Douglas is exclusive to couples that are looking for serenity, with personal and friendly service. We welcome children from the ages of 16. This is a NON SMOKING property
