Your Club Jetstar membership lasts for 12 months from the date you join. We’ll send you a reminder email about four weeks before your renewal is due, but you can also keep tabs on your membership by logging in to your account and selecting ‘Club Jetstar’ to see your billing cycle.

Renewal methods

Auto-renewal

When you join Club Jetstar using your credit card, your membership will be automatically renewed after 12 months, so you can continue getting all your benefits without needing to do anything. If you opted out of auto-renewal after you joined, or paid by a method other than credit card, you can set up auto-renewal any time via your Club Jetstar account. (Or you can renew manually – more on that in a moment.)

How to set up auto-renewal

  • Log in to your account and click on ‘Club Jetstar’ in the left-hand menu
  • In the Subscription details section, click ‘Active - Auto-renew my membership'
  • If you've saved a credit card in My Wallet, this will appear under Subscription payment details
  • Select your preferred card from the saved cards list, then click ‘save’ to activate your Club Jetstar membership auto-renewal
  • If you haven't yet saved a credit card, you'll need to add one to your account before you can click ‘save’ and activate your auto-renewal. To do this:
    • Click on ‘My Wallet’ in the left-hand menu then ‘Add new card’ to enter the details of the card you want to use for your membership
    • After saving your card, return to your Club Jetstar subscription page and click on 'Active - Auto-renew my membership'.
    • The card you've just added will now appear under Subscription payment details.

How to turn off auto-renewal

  • Log in to your account and click on ‘Club Jetstar’ in the left-hand menu
  • In the Subscription details section, select ‘Inactive – do not auto-renew my membership’ and save.

When your membership is coming up for renewal, we’ll email you with a link to the Club Jetstar renewal page, where you can renew manually if you’d like to.

Why was my membership automatically renewed?

Did you pay for your membership with a credit card when you joined Club Jetstar? If so, your card would have been charged automatically when your membership renewal was due (unless you turned off auto-renewal after joining). However, if you believe you’ve been automatically renewed by mistake, and would like us to review the charge, please contact us now.

Renewing manually

Don’t want us to automatically renew your Club Jetstar membership? That’s fine. If it’s due to expire in less than 60 days, you can renew manually by logging in to your account and clicking on the 'Renew now' button. This will take you to the Club Jetstar renewal page, where you can renew using your chosen payment method.

How can I pay for my membership renewal?

How you choose to renew your membership determines which payment methods are available to you.

Auto-renewal

Currently we only accept credit card for auto-renewal, but this is something we’re working on! See the steps above for how to enable auto-renewal.

Manual renewal

If you’re renewing manually via your Club Jetstar account or a renewal link in an email we’ve sent you, you can pay using debit or credit card, PayPal, POLi, Union Pay or Alipay

My membership expired before I could renew

Your Club Jetstar account will expire 12 months after your joining date if you don’t have auto-renew set up or you haven’t renewed online. To reinstate your access to member fares, discounts, and special partner offers, simply re-join here. We’d love to have you back on board!

Grace period after expiry date

If your membership expires before you’re able to renew, you’ll have a grace period of seven days after your expiry date during which you can still renew without having to rejoin from scratch. We’ll add 12 months to your existing membership expiry date and your membership perks will be reinstated immediately! To see if your grace period is still current, simply sign into your Club Jetstar account.

Help! My credit card was declined

If your membership expires due to your credit card being declined, please check whether your card is still valid. If it is, and you’d like us to investigate why it was declined, contact us now and we’ll look into it. Otherwise, just re-join with a valid card or another payment method, and you’ll be enjoying those great member perks again before you know it!

How to cancel your membership

We’ll be sorry to see you go, but if you’d like to cancel your membership, log in to your account, click on ‘Club Jetstar’, and select 'Cancel now'. Your membership will be deactivated immediately. You won't receive a refund.
