Online payment options

You can book at Jetstar.com with these three payment options:

Credit, debit or charge card

We accept international Visa, MasterCard, American Express, UnionPay, JCB and UATP cards. A Booking and Service Fee will apply.

UnionPay

You can also pay for your Jetstar flights using UnionPay. When you choose this option, you'll be redirected to the UnionPay website. A Booking and Service fee per passenger per flight will apply.

Card foreign transaction fee

Your credit or debit card payments may be processed outside the country where you purchased your booking. The bank that issued your card may identify your credit or debit card payment as a foreign transaction and charge you a fee. For further information, please contact your bank.

Apple Pay

You can use Apple Pay to make payments for Jetstar bookings using the wallet on your Apple device. When you choose the Apple Pay option on the payments page, you’ll need to select the card type linked to your Apple Pay account – current options are Mastercard and Visa debit and credit cards, and American Express. When you have chosen the card type you would like to use, ‘Continue with Apple Pay’ to make your payment. A Booking and Service fee will apply.

Alipay

If you have a bank account issued in mainland China, you can pay for your Jetstar flights using Alipay. When you choose this option, you'll be redirected to the Alipay site or app. A Booking and Service fee per passenger per flight will apply.

Alipay is available in the following currencies: Chinese yuan (CNY), US dollars (USD), Australian dollars (AUD), Hong Kong dollars (HKD), Singapore dollars (SGD) and Japanese yen (JPY).

Jetstar Voucher

Vouchers issued by Jetstar can be used for part or full payment of your fare. Please note that vouchers can only be used once and any unused portion of the value of a voucher will be forfeited. No Booking and Service Fee applies.

If there’s a remaining balance, you must pay this with another voucher or by credit, debit or charge card. A Booking and Service Fee will apply.

If you select payment by Jetstar voucher, select the "Voucher" tab. Please enter your “Voucher Code” and “Voucher Number”, then click “Purchase”

In-flight purchases

To make in-flight purchases on any Jetstar Airways (JQ) flight, you’ll need a physical credit card or a digital wallet. These can be used to buy food and drinks on board, or to pre-purchase meals, snacks or an in-flight voucher. In-flight payment options may vary for Jetstar Asia (3K) and Jetstar Japan (GK).
